Every legacy starts with a calling
The name Olsen belongs to Gunnar Olai Olsen, who, in 1920, left the familiar shores of Norway to pursue a calling in South America. There, he established a successful trading company before returning to Norway seven years later, leaving behind his son, Johan Hendrik Wouter Olsen. Johan carried the family legacy forward in a different way. Long before the digital age, he founded one of the region’s first advertising companies, transforming hand-painted cinema banners and large-scale advertising displays into works of exceptional craftsmanship. Through resilience, vision, and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit, he built his business from the ground up, demonstrating that enduring success is not determined by circumstance, but by purpose, perseverance, and the courage to create opportunity.
